In her 1998 book, "The Future and its Enemies: The Growing Conflict over Creativity, Enterprise and Progress", author and libertarian social commentator Virginia Postrell outlines a different political paradigm of "Stasis" vs. "Dynamism" (rather than Conservative vs. Progressive). Do we really embrace the future, or try to control it based on preconceived ideas?

We will discuss this model as a provocative lens for current issues and discourse, and compare her perspective with our previous discussions on Agile and "Day One" mentality.
