Atlantis is a legendary island civilization described by Plato, often linked to real lost cultures like the Minoans (devastated by the Thera eruption) or hypothesized advanced societies (Mu, Lemuria) that influenced world myths, with theories connecting them to global megaliths and ancient knowledge.
