Sunday Celebration

Thoreau annual Water Ceremony and In-Gathering Service!

Bring some water that has meaning to you and share your story with the congregation. The water will be mingled with water we have been collecting at our Water Ceremonies for 26 years! This is an intergeneration service so there will be no Religious Education classes this Sunday. The nursery will be open for preschoolers, however.

We gather weekly in our sanctuary at 3515 Clayhead Road, Richmond, TX. All are welcome to join us.

During in-person worship, Religious Education is offered for children 5 and over, and a nursery is available.

Our Adult Discussion Group meets before the service at 9:45 in the Clark Cabin and via Zoom.

You are invited to join us for hospitality hour after the service.

Masks are required indoors.

This week, we ARE collecting collecting gently used children’s shoes for Common Threads. Please look through your children or grandchildren’s shoes and see what they have grown out of that still look pretty good. Or ask your neighbors who have kids if they have any. Children grow so fast and I know most families would like to see those barely used shoes go to help some other children than end up in the trash.

Thoreau services are at 11 am at the Thoreau Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 3515 Clayhead, Richmond.

Our services can also be viewed on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/TUUC.FB
