“Spiritual Poverty: Are We Human Beings or Human Doings?” By Rev. Dan King

To be or to do? is a question Shakespeare didn't ask. But burnout or spiritual exhaustion seems to be a more common complaint for many of us especially over the past few years of pandemic and economic and societal. uncertainty. Our Minister Emeritus, Rev. Dan King, has been thinking about this topic since his retirement from full-time service three years ago. He comes to share a few reflections with us about his efforts to use his remaining years a little more wisely.

We gather weekly in our sanctuary at 3515 Clayhead Road, Richmond, TX. All are welcome to join us.

During in-person worship, Religious Education is offered for children 5 and over, and a nursery is available.

Our Adult Discussion Group meets before the service at 9:45 in the Clark Cabin and via Zoom.

You are invited to join us for hospitality hour after the service.

Masks are now optional.

Thoreau services are at 11 am at the Thoreau Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 3515 Clayhead, Richmond.

Our services can also be viewed on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/TUUC.FB
