An Aetheist’s Perspective - Kelly Rhodes, invited speaker
We hope you can join us to hear Kelly Rhodes, Assistant State Director for American Athiests, talk about “Imagine No Religion.” She will be presenting this service about why she advocates for atheism. Born into the Mormon faith, she was raised by non-practicing Mormon parents, “rescued” by staunchly Mormon grandparents, and married in the temple. Today she is a proud atheist, active in many secular groups in the Houston area, and happier than she ever was as a religious person seeking the unattainable goal of perfection. In atheism she found peace, and she highly recommends it to all.
Join us in-person or via Facebook Live as for our weekly gathering.
During in-person worship service, Religious Exploration is offered for children 5 and over, and a nursery is available for childcare. You are invited to join us for hospitality after the service.
