July 23 - ETI does not imply UFO

Ron Masters will lead this look at UFOs and UAPs  (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). There are thousands of known Exoplanets in other stellar systems. There is good indirect evidence that life—maybe even intelligent life—is common in the Milky Way. However, there is no evidence of radio emissions from other technological civilizations. Von Neumann Probes—self-replicating mining machines—might colonize space at an exponential rate, but none have arrived here. So, where is everybody?  We’ll watch a series of short videos and discuss.

June 25th to July 30th we will meet in Thoreau’s Sanctuary at 11AM for Talkback Service.

Talkback Service is a moderated group discussion, which begins with a presentation of 15-20 minutes, followed by Q&A.

Discussions are open to all young adult and adult members, friends, and visitors.

During Talkback Sunday Service, Religious Exploration is offered for children 5 and over, and childcare is available for children under 5.

Water Slide Days scheduled July 2 and 23. Bring swimsuits, sunscreen, and towels!
