Sunday Celebration

January 5    Burning Bowl Ceremony and Milestones Service

Every year, on the first Sunday of the new year, Thoreau holds a Burning Bowl Ceremony, where the congregation is invited to reflect of the things from the year before that they are ready to let go.  You can write this old baggage on a piece of paper, and then feed it to the fire. Hopefully, watching those hurts and problems go up in smoke will start a new path for each of us.  We will also recognize milestones that member of our congregation celebrated in 2024.

Join us in-person for our weekly gathering.

You are invited to join us for hospitality after the service.
