Adult Illiteracy by Sally Kubiak

You might be shocked to find out the number of adults in Fort Bend County who are illiterate and who struggle with reading and writing. How big of a handicap is that?  Why is it such a widespread problem? What can we do about it? Sally Kubiak, the interim Executive Director of the Literacy Council of Fort Bend, will be our guest speaker.

On one Sunday a month, our Adult Discussion Group coordinates the speaker for our weekly gathering.

Join us in-person in Thoreau’s Sanctuary or via Zoom for our discussion service.

During ADG Sunday Service, Religious Education is offered for children 5 and over, and a nursery is available by prior request.

You are invited to join us for light snacks after ADG.

Masks are now optional.
